Sports Science - Brittney Griner

Okay, I have so many longer posts that's in draft, that it's beginning to bug me.  I think I need to just have some super short posts from now on...  lol... or else too much of my thoughts/ideas are just fading away.

I've used this video more than three times now in my classes for a variety of different reasons:

I love using the clip as a springboard to talk about a variety of different things

Math: from volume to quadratics to proportional reasoning... anything goes.
Basketball: having a love for basketball and coaching basketball, this is a great opportunity to talk about sexism, defensive plays, offensive plays, individuality in terms of plays...etc.

I'm about to use it again tomorrow, so that'll be fun!
